My life is getting away from me..

As is wont to happen with me a great many things have spiraled out of my control in the last week and some. We are coming to the end of the quarter so my classwork has increased and worries of finals are starting to hit. I had to finish up work on my Alice swap package and get it on it's way to my partner. I have been fighting to lose the last  pound and now half pound to get me to my half way point. Plus trying to get items off om my 30 by 30 list. In all the craziness my one year blogaversary came and went on the 25th. I had great intentions of doing something special for it, but that just did not happen, so instead I am going to plan something for this month. I have a week off coming up and will plan something spectacular. Keep a look out. :)

Mad Tea Party 2011

Welcome to my Party!! Feel free to grab a cup and a chair.  The table is set and waiting.  Pretty veggies... All kinds of berries... The tea service awaiting the first guests... Zoe looks frightened...she doesn't trust mad people (how does she live with me? lol) I am all dressed up and ready to party.  With my cupcake socks.  And my tiny top hat (received in an Alice swap)  Cupcakes, Berries and are those cucumber sandwiches.  Pouring the tea for my party guests.  Berries, Candy and a full cup o tea.  Quoi??  Having a chat with my very mad Mother.  My Mothers amazing tea hat.  4 pots of tea consumed hundreds of laughs  good friends lots of food What a fabulous party!!  Thank you for stopping by, have a fabulous tea day.  Clean cup, move down. Betsy's Gypsy Dreams

When I was a little girl I would sit on my front porch reading and dreaming that the gypsies would come to take me away. I loved the music, dancing, color and whimsy of the gypsy. Their spirit spoke of freedom that my mid-western soul could not help but envy. I wanted to run away and find my place among those beautiful people.  And as an adult I still do. I love to dress in what I think of a a gypsy style.
