Foto Fridays - Awakening the Force

The first full week of January was fun and full for me and mine. We saw movies and went bowling again. I started an online belly dance intensive and ATS Level 1 & 2 again. Christmas is now officially over and put away in the White house. I bought supplies to begin creating my first Tribal belly dance bra. I also signed up for my second 5k for 2016. I have my goals for the year in my journal. All in all it has been an amazing start to the year.

On Saturday we saw the 9:55 am showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Imax 3D. It was amazing!

Imax 3D glasses are not flattering.
 
 
Sunday
 
I bought new bowling shoes!! Love them so much. And they match my ball.

My nightgown has kitties on it. How cute is that?
 
 
Tuesday
 
D & D night with my gaming group.
 
 
Wednesday
 
My favorite hip belt has witches and bats on it. It was made for me by my mother.

 
 
Thursday
 
Reusing wedding decorations to replace holiday decorations.
 
 
Friday
 
What I am reading currently, plus my new journal that I am breaking in tonight. It says "Life is about creating yourself".

Mad Tea Party 2011

Welcome to my Party!! Feel free to grab a cup and a chair.  The table is set and waiting.  Pretty veggies... All kinds of berries... The tea service awaiting the first guests... Zoe looks frightened...she doesn't trust mad people (how does she live with me? lol) I am all dressed up and ready to party.  With my cupcake socks.  And my tiny top hat (received in an Alice swap)  Cupcakes, Berries and are those cucumber sandwiches.  Pouring the tea for my party guests.  Berries, Candy and a full cup o tea.  Quoi??  Having a chat with my very mad Mother.  My Mothers amazing tea hat.  4 pots of tea consumed hundreds of laughs  good friends lots of food What a fabulous party!!  Thank you for stopping by, have a fabulous tea day.  Clean cup, move down. Betsy's Gypsy Dreams

When I was a little girl I would sit on my front porch reading and dreaming that the gypsies would come to take me away. I loved the music, dancing, color and whimsy of the gypsy. Their spirit spoke of freedom that my mid-western soul could not help but envy. I wanted to run away and find my place among those beautiful people.  And as an adult I still do. I love to dress in what I think of a a gypsy style.
