Magical Monday - 9 days until Yule!

Magical Monday

3 Card Spread -  Head, Heart, Spirit

I have been typing out the exact definition from the book, but starting this week, at least for the tarot, I am going to start paraphrasing and giving you my feelings.

Head: Six of Arrows - Transition: This is a card about change, from the inside out. If you are looking to move on and move up you cannot do that if you are holding yourself back with old dreams, old thoughts, and regrets. It is time to adapt, adjust and let go of the things you no longer need.

Heart: Six of Vessels - Reunion: The holidays are a particularly hard time for me, and I think this card is telling me that it is time that I dealt with the issues behind my anxiety, and reclaim the holidays as my own.

Spirit: Three of Vessels - Joy: Do not become to wrapped up in life that you cannot take time to enjoy things as they happen, and celebrate life's small victories. Practice gratitude everyday.

If you have chosen the moose card, you have reason to feelgood about something you have accomplished on your journey. This may be a habit you have broken, a completion of some sort, an insight on a goal, or a new sense of self that you have fought hard to earn. It is a time of feeling harmonious pride, and of recognizing those who aided you in the process.

1 Unity: When this card comes up in a reading, it is asking us to remember the mystical concept that we are all one, unified in a holistic universe. It reminds us to look art the needs and goals we have in common with others, and to seek cooperation and community action rather than attempting. to do everything on our own. To achieve our goals, we need the active cooperation of others; and to get that cooperation, we must be helpful to them and willing to work with their ideas as well as our own. It suggests that we think of things in terms of partnerships rather than lines of hierarchical authority.
Unity also tells us that we have much to gain by remembering our own wholeness. Resolution of inner conflict is often necessary before we move ahead. It is important at this time that we work towards cooperation and reconciliation, within and without.

Thoughts: I am working this week on decorating my house for the holidays, as well as carving the stamp for my Yule cards. On Saturday we are hosting an ornament decorating party. This should be fun.

We got a new tree. It is a 9' skinny tree and it is so tall. Pictures to come.

Blessings!
